I love weddings at the rustic, beautiful Trillium resort, especially when they involve a outdoor Winter wedding! John & Natalie are the sweetest couple you could ever meet and their wedding was such a pleasure to be a part of. There were lots of emotions at this wedding and at times not a dry eye in the crowd. Having a outdoor ceremony has it’s challenges in the Winter time but lucky for us Natalie’s dad was looking down on us and we couldn’t have a more beautiful, perfect day. I can’t wait to get back to Trillium resort this Summer, it really is the perfect spot to say ‘I do’! Wishing you both a life full of happiness and thank you for asking me to capture your wedding day. Here’s a few of my favourites below…
Oh how I love getting together for Winter engagement photos in my neck of the woods! Grace contacted me to capture her Fall wedding this year, one conversation led to another and low and behold our cottages are across from eachother in the same Bay on Eagle lake. They ventured up for their engagement photos on the lake with their adorable cat Collins and we couldn’t have a more perfect day! I’m super excited for this wedding, I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to say I do! Here are a few of my favourites from our time together, I had such a great time with these two! Here they are….
Oh my, baby Max is one handsome dude. I’ve gotten to know and love his parents since this past Summer when I first got together with them for their gorgeous wedding at the cottage. It’s always such a pleasure seeing them and I couldn’t wait to meet this little guy. Max made his entrance into the world a few weeks before we got together for his newborn photos and he is obviously loved more than ever. He was a dream to photograph and not once did he make a peep. What a lucky little man this guy is to have these two as his parents, he’s going to have the best life growing up at the cottage in Muskoka. Wishing you so much love and happiness, enjoy every second with him, it really does go by so unbelievably fast. Xo
Courtney & Andy’s New Year’s Eve wedding in Collingwood was just perfect. Winter can be so unpredictable when it comes to shooting portraits outside but we did and I’m so glad we did! My sister has this amazing group of girlfriends from University (I’ve been lucky to have photographed a few of their weddings), Courtney being one of them. Knowing Courtney, and by the sounds of things I knew this would be a fantastic wedding with a pretty great party and it really was. Courtney was a trooper I tell you. From the moment she stepped out of the vehicle in the wind and the snow and the cold for their reveal she had a big smile on her face and just rolled with the punches. They had a beautiful, intimate, candlelit ceremony with just their closet family & friends before the band and the party started. The highlight to the evening was the surprise flash mob that the whole wedding joined in for! What a way to spend New Year’s, and I’d say 2016 went out with a bang. What a fantastic couple you guys are and I hope your honeymoon in St.Lucia was absolutely amazing. Big hug to you both and enjoy reliving your day through a few of my favourite photos. Xo
Engagement photos in the Winter are no doubt beautiful (tricky when it comes to planning sometimes if the weather isn’t on your side) but we lucked out and got a gorgeous day. Amanda & Mohammad are getting married in Florida this year! It’s a special place for Amanda and she can’t imagine getting married anywhere else. We chatted about their big day, hiked across snow banks (in heels mind you), played with their adorable dog Rocky and laughed a lot. They were troopers and I love how their engagement photos turned out. Wishing you guys all the best, it was a blast hanging out with you for the afternoon. Here’s a few of my favourites….
