Northridge Inn wedding…Vicky & Nick

Oh how I love shooting weddings at the Northridge Inn!  Lucky for me this absolutely gorgeous resort is right down the road from my house  in Sundridge and it just so happens to be one of my favourite spots for a wedding.  Vicky & Nick have connections to this beautiful place as well, and they didn’t have to do much thinking when it came to choosing a venue, they love it here too.  You know it’s a Northern Ontario wedding when the boys bring out the guns, and the girls had a blast shooting them off as well!  Vicky & Nick are the nicest people you could ever meet and I just loved hanging out with them and their awesome wedding party capturing these images.  The weather was beautiful, and every aspect of the day went off without a hitch.  Wishing you guys nothing but the best in the future and thank you so much for asking me to be a part of your day.  It was a absolute pleasure!  Here’s a few of my favourites.

Caitlyn & Ryan’s lake wedding

Oh man I’m not even sure where to begin with this one!  Caitlyn grew up on Eagle lake (and actually taught my son Griffin swimming lessons)!  She knew that she wanted their wedding to take place on that very dock that she grew up at, and lucky for them The Hockey Opportunity Camp is just right down the lake where their reception was held.  Caitlyn is one of those people you just love being around, she’s fun, spirited and so easy going.  Ryan shares a deep love for the North as well, and although he wasn’t the hugest fan of having his photo taken he was such a great sport and is such a super photogenic guy!  Their wedding was absolutely amazing and we had the best weather ever.  I’m SO excited to share these, and wish you all the best on your new adventure together Caitlyn & Ryan!  Down near the bottom of this post don’t miss their photos in the lake the next morning.  It’s pretty obvious we had a blast capturing those pictures too!  Here they are….                                                                       The next morning we had some fun in the lake!

Courtney & Jeff’s Fall, evening wedding!

It’s not every day that I get to shoot my cousin’s wedding, but I did a few weeks back and it was fantastic to be there surrounded by so many loved ones!  Jeff is such a great guy, and Courtney has been amazing ever since we met her!  I was honoured when they asked me to capture their wedding in Kemptville, and lucky for us we got some beautiful weather for their day.  Their ceremony took place in the evening and the light was just gorgeous.  Nascar is Jeff’s big thing so it was awesome to see everyone waving a flag as they were announced husband and wife, followed by my dad piping them out.  It was a perfect day for a perfect couple!  Wishing you both all the happiness in the world on your new adventure together at husband and wife.  Here’s a few of my favourites!

One word … Gorgeous!

Ahmic lake resort wedding…Mel & Joe

We got the nicest day possible for Mel & Joe’s Fall wedding at Ahmic lake resort.  It’s couldn’t have been more beautiful.  From Mel’s gorgeous dress, to the colours it was the perfect wedding.  Joe & Mel live in Calgary but are both originally from the area making Ahmic lake the ideal spot for their wedding.  Mel was the most easy going bride you could imagine and just totally went with the flow the whole entire day.  We were able to utilize the gorgeous property with all it’s great spots for photos.  Thank you guys so much for asking me to capture your day, it was perfect from beginning to end and wishing you all the best as husband and wife!  Here’s a few of my favourites.

Grace & Tyler…Eagle lake cottage wedding

This has been such a amazing Summer full of shooting weddings at cottages and lakes close to my heart.  I got to know Grace & Tyler during their Winter engagement photos and I knew right away that this would be a wedding I would look forward to all year.  By chance when Grace contacted me regarding capturing her wedding, their cottage just happen to be right across the Bay from mine on Eagle lake.  Small world!  They have fantastic taste, and the details of the day were just perfect.  We had a gorgeous, sunny day (a bit chilly) but just right for their bonfire reception.  I’ve enjoyed getting to know you guys so much over the past year and hope that we can continue to meet up kayaking at the islands and enjoy this lake that we both love so much together.  Here’s a few of my favourites from their perfect wedding day.
